Anyone who was outside downtown February 15 between 6:00 and 6:30 PM probably would have noticed the Peace symbol next to the Firetower. Nearly 150 people showed up to make a Peace symbol with Colman lanterns and flashlights. A large group of people has been protesting Fridays at various street corners in Helena. We decided that some event was needed in Helena to complement the millions of people worldwide protesting a possible war in Iraq this past Saturday.
